Every track has "some" form of tech. It is all about the tech and track hosting the event. Some are thorough some kick the tires and sign it off. It depends on the person and sactioning body of that particular track.

The safety rules for tech are all based on the NHRA rulebook....or the IHRA rulebook. Some of the tracks are NHRA...some are IHRA. I would sugest you get a rule book from one or both of these sanctioning bodies. Especially if your truck runs faster than 6.99 in the eighth or 11.50 in the quarter.
