I was kicking-around The Shops at Legacy near work at lunch-break and noticed some of the showing and upcoming features at http://www.angelikafilmcenter.com/afc.asp.

I'm not really a movie-goer or TV person, but I'm going to see Munich and Syriana this weekend, and Why We Fight then The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada.

The main draw for me is Munich. Here's the trailer: Munich (http://www.talonclub.com/forum/Munich) . Basically, in '72, Palestinian members of the Black September group murder eleven Israeli athletes. The Israelis responsed with a lethal, top secret, thirty-year-long antiterrorism campaign to track down the killers.:eek2::bows

Prime Minister Golda Meir vowed to track down those responsible and, in Menachem Begin’s words, “Run these criminals and murderers off the face of the earth.” Don't jack with the Mossad.

Here's one of the Palestinians in Munich:

I remember when I first started getting into guns, I saw an H&K MP-5 promotional poster in a gun-store with the '72 Munich incident as the theme. I'm going to have to E-Bay that item.

Second for me is Syriana. Here's the trailer: Syriana (http://a.justmovietrailers.com/video/5834/syriana_trailer_300.html). Basically it's all about the Big-Business, Government, Middle-East connection and the need for high gas-prices to fuel the "machine".

It casts my boys George Clooney and Tim Blake Nelson (Tulsa native) from O' Brother Where Art Thou'. :)

Anyone seen these shows and have mature/constructive comments?
