I was running down Central Exp. at lunch and noticed this Monster parked out front. :bowsI spoke with the desk-help and he mentioned the owner, Matt - as I recall, paid like $191K+ out-the-door.:eek2:

It's definitely a sharp-looking car! The pics were taken with my Motorola V551 phone.

More info. here: http://www.rsportscars.com/eng/articles/ford_gt_heritage.asp

They had a '05/'06 yellow Z06 on the dyno ready to run, too.

It does sort of look like a 200 mph Easter-Egg with that paint get-up. :D

But, that's the original colors as you know.

If I had the $$, I wouldn't get that color-scheme, but I think its cool that they made a few like that.

Dang, don't you boys have ANY sense of racing history??? THose are the old Gulf livery colors of the LeMans-winning GT-40's in 1967-96. :d

Love the nostalgia, but I hate the colors. Whoever intially thought up that color scheme should be drawn and quartered.

What on Earth were you doing at Keith Craft, Ronald?

Or did you just stop when you saw the GT?

I was just driving south on 75 and ducked in to take a closer look. Glad I did.

There was a black/silver-striped one at Middlekauf Plano, too. It's been sitting there a while.

That would be Gulf Oil of the '50s and '60s... but then again, you weren't even a swimmer at that time.

Damn, first you're cruising "Brokeback Mountain"; now you're cruising the car lots??

You have WAY more problems than at first suspected, dude! :eek2: :nono:
