I just spoke with Doug. The hotel put a wet blanket on the parking lot drinking. The reason given had to do with the open container laws. What a bunch of fags. I am thinking we where real damned lucky nobody got arrested last year.

Anyone have any info on this truck? I like the way it sits. The slicks tuck in somehow? It looks like the rollpan is all one piece (I've never seen this piece before)

The only bad thing I know of is when I got pulled over. I was not speeding, at that time. He said he could only read half my rear tag. I was asked to go to his car so he could make sure I had no warrents or anything. Then he had to bs with me about how he wanted one when they came out. He was a nice and did not give me a ticket, but said I needed to do something so my rear tag could be sean easier:hammer: . Not going to happen.:D

i think that roll pan looks like ass.. reminds me to much of the craptastic bodykits on hondas... not to mention its flat as crap when the rest of the entire truck has curves...

They were there to pick up some skank on something unrelated to L fest. We were inside the first night in the meeting room- the parking lot the next two nights. The party was in full progress all nights just ask Jeffrey:D:eek::eek2::crying:

It did look a lot better in person. He was in front of me on the a portion of the Pro Street event. It looked much better than in the pic, and I'm not a big fan of the one color/molded look.

The girl they arrested was in the room across the hall from our room. We were heading back from Jeff/Rob/Jacobs room to head out to dinner and the cops were up there getting her.

I'm not sure what she did, didn't even hear any good rumors. They did have the Do Not Disturb tag out since we checked in, I guess the Police don't care about those...lol :nono:

I had a blast this year and thought it was another great Talon showing at LFest.

Again, props to Gary on improving on last years trophy in the SL class to a 1st place trophy in the PS class. I think he hit his number twice and looked unstopable on his way to victory. I don't think we had any other Talon members get racing trophies.

The show was also a success with Ronnie's truck taking first place in the Gen 1 Wild class, but also most impressive was the Best of Show award. People liked the truck and the truck liked the people.

I took 2nd in the Gen 1 Wild class and am very happy to take the 2nd spot behind Ronnie. There is always next year... but it does feel good to see it go to his truck. Much better than one of those other guys beating me. :)

Thanks for all the help on getting the truck cleaned up for the pictures. As soon as I hear anything, I will post it up.

Dadgum Dennis! hat must have happened not long after we spoke. Glad everyone made it back safely, and at least that sucker waited until AFTER L-fest to let go.

Congratulations to Ronny and Trevor for their sweep in Wild Gen 1 class, and to Ronny for his winning of the Peoples' Choice Award.:beer: That's fricking AWESOME, man!!! Also for the shoot and upcoming spread in either MM&FF or Ford Performance Trucks. That's quite a testament to two beautiful Gen 1's. Not a bad weekend fellas!

Well, I might not have had the prettiest TALON G1 at L-fest, but I got the fastest!:D......at least for now......
