No more Lightning...

Went up to North Texas Nissan to look at a few cars...ended up leaving with one.

Traded my truck in and picked up a 2007 Maxima. Loaded out. White, lowered, chrome 350z wheels. The technology this car has amazes me, and is absolutely unbelieveable.

CTV tranny- no shifts
heated seats and steering wheel-
3.5L V6 255hp 252tq
navigation
bluetooth
intelli key- i cant explain it, but theres no actual key. pretty amazing.
blah blah blah, yadda yadda yadda

I have know the owner for quite a while, and he gave me a deal I could not refuse.

its a bad ass car. unless you have driven one, i would hold the opinions.

its my daily, and i just needed something that i could carry more people, and have more storage room.

Nope.... haven't seen that yet. But I have recently experienced quite a few Titan and Tundra owners who wanted to try their luck at running a Lightning. :rolleyes:

The import guys might be able to knock off their share of Hemi Rams, Chevy SS, and 5.9 Dakotas, but the Lightning is way out of their league.:tex

The Titan isnt as fast as the L.,but its a nice truck.Nissan makes a good vehichle.Didnt mean to jack your thread Daniel.It would be hard for me to go from a truck to a car as a daily driver.Suprised you didnt leave with a Titan.Sorry to hear about giving up the truck.Youll miss it.

I raced a Titan in my wife's Trailblazer SS... pulled him hard from a dig.

As far as the Maxima and what Nissan/Infinity offer, I think they are very nice vehicles. My mom has a G35. It is sweet.

I was just messin' with ya!!!! I have driven them, and they are really an amazing machine. Seems like they are very competetive against more expensive vehicles. I'm sure you'll like it over the long term. I know you'll miss the L like I miss mine, but I needed more room as well. That's why I bought the SRT8 Jeep.
