Need some help deciding what to add next.
My L is off getting an NX wet kit installed with Sal's injection plate, having the Truck Trak traction bars installed and some weight reduction work (Thanks Terry).
I have almost run out of things to add to it that are within reason ( read here, no engine work untill it becomes necessary, same with tranny)
See my sig. for list of mods.
I want to keep her so she Could, (not that I will) be daily driven.
Thinking about removing the 2" shackles and putting a true 2/4 drop on her.
I have MT slicks and front runners on American Racing aluminum rims so I have that covered...
Was thinking about water/methenol injection but don't really understand how it works and how well it will work with NX Express.
Also considering pulling the seats and adding a pair of black and grey Recarro's with the EXP center console, maybe some new rims and a custom type paint job...no flames...everyone is doing that now. I do want to swap the fog lights to the newer style.
Any ideas????? Seems like half of the reason I love the L so much is the constant mods to look forward to...just need help on deciding what should be next.

Very sweet cars and Porsche's only V8. Be prepared to shell out big bucks for repairs though. My dad had one in 1986 and it cost him $800 for a water pump alone. 60K service was upwards of $2900. That was 16 years ago.

I had an "88" in Champage with the Dark Brown buckskin interior that was awsome...5 speed, 26K on the clock in "92", totaled it out...got hit by a Payless Cashwars flatbed truck on Trininty mills road...No insurance, I had just bought it 2 weeks before and paid cash and was waiting till I got paid again to cover the insurance premium....DoooHHHHH!!!!
Ended up selling it as is with bent frame for $5200 a week later:hammer:

LOL! I just called my dad at 1:55am to have him verify repair costs. He said the 60k was $1700, not the $2900 I quoted above. I was 10 years old at the time he had the '86 and thought it was the coolest thing since my Transformers.

Just trim it down to the highlights and then put a link to a web page with the details, in your signature.

I still think 928S4's are bad ass...32 valve V8 320 HP flagship of the Porsche line in its time.
I also likes that 944 Turbo S...it was actually faster than the 928S4 and the 911 at the time.

All I need to do now is figure out a way to convince the wife that we need one.

I never knew that! I've seen quite a few Turbo S's tearing up the local autocrosses, but didn't know they could outrun the S4 and the 911. Cool!

There's a great article in this month's Grassroots Motorsports about the 944 vs. the 911. Good luck on the convincing. ;)
