Hey who do you guys in Tarrant County use for front end alignment on lowered trucks? I had it done at Nichols Ford when I had the teenage stockers on back in 2001, at Driven automotive on Pioneer in 2003 when I put the 20's on and at Texan Ford last year right before my fender bender. Since then I notice wear on brand new tires(Nichols Bodyshop did not do alignment after accident but said its within specs and its maxed out)He told me I need to go to a shop that do lower cars with 20+ size wheels. I did a search and read a post from Dec '04 that said Champion off hwy 199. They still open, Terry who do you recommend after you lower L's? I use my L as a daily now, just put on 4 new rollers and not ready to repace a tire worn on the corner only.Terry by the way I'm just over 74,000 so I'm putting together a list of maintenance I want you to do @ 75,000. So give me some info on alignment shops.

yeah thanks gentlemen, I mentioned them because I found a old post from 2004 that Steve-o recommended them to Jeff56. I'll roll over there because I got bad inside wear on 6 month old tires. The area from the fist groove to the edge is far worn compared to rest of tire that still looks new. This place in the yellow pages so I can get an addy? Hey Jeff-ro we still need to hook up when your honeymoon is over:tu:

I don't think so. I got my truck done in 2003 at Ford Racing Superstore on Cooper, its a Ground Force kit. Then had the alignment done at Driven Automotive on Pioneer because they were the only shop I found to do it on 20"+ wheels. I had cams bolts done in 2001 at Nichols Ford & regular alignment with stockers. I'm going to check out Champion Springs that has been suggested to see what they say.

Champion Spring is here: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=l&hl=en&q=champion+spring&near=76102&layer=&ie=UTF8&z=12&ll=32.822336,-97.322044&spn=0.176859,0.246162&om=1&iwloc=A&iwd=1&cid=32747545,-97337402,17022474431769095172&dtab=0

I had my lowered L aligned at North Main & Tire:

They charged me $60, did a great job too, recommend. I've never used Champion myself, so no comparison.

yeah thanks, I had pulled them up after I got so many recommendations. I don't know if you read the entire post or not but my problem is the fact I'm maxed out on my alignment due to lowering.I paid twice that @ Texan Ford here in Arlington after I put on 4 new rollers and wanted it "perfect". Prior to the new ones ,my old ones show signs of uneven wear on inside edge. But after the $120 Ford alignment I had a fender bender that cut one of my new rollers(driver-frt) before they had 500-600 miles on them.Insurance replaced the cut one but Nichols Ford did not do alignment. Not knowing if accident had knocked it out of alignment & after seeing uneven wear now on current tire I believe its wearing more than I think it should so I checked back with Nichols Bodyshop and they did not do alignment but checked it and found it within specs but I am maxed out on alignment adjustment ability due to lowering. Before this set of tires I put on 20's and had it lowered in spring 2003, had alignment done @ Driven Automotive on Pioneer in Arlington for $60...this time they were a couple days backed up on work and couldn't get me in so I went to Texan. 1 set of tires & 1 alignment in 3 years was OK with me.
I just want a non-wearing alignment for lowered truck at reasonable cost.
