Anyone in the club using one of these? If so, do they help decrease inlet temps by pulling air from the fender? Or is it just a POS? Thanks guys  . http://www.johnnylightningperf.com/shop/product_info.php?sessId=3D62461035B6B1A5C443190DAD F71F6B&products_id=32

If you remove the stock box you'll want to go with something like this.

Otherwise you're just pulling in the hot engine air.

Excellent write up:

http://www.timskelton.com/lightning/race_prep/powertrain/cold_air.htm Do those scoops go under the bumper? I have had BAD luck with those kind of setups when I had my SC 93 Mustang. The damn thing would suck up every piece of trash, bugs etc that was on the road. One night I drove into a swarm of locus, and when I got home I could hear this funny sound coming from my air box. Well I take it off and out comes about 25 pissed off locus. There were several dead ones in there as well, it was a freakin mess. That is just one of my bad experiences, just thought I would share it with you guys  .

Shoveling radiant heat, sand, and debris of the road is a bad idea.
