its definitely unique

...i keep goin back looking at the wheels though. id often like to replace my factory wheels, but i occassionaly pull a trailer. probably around a 3 ton load. any advice..do wheels/tires have a load rating?

Those are commonly referred to as scissor doors and are popular with the import crowd.

Those are Lambo doors, gullwing are hinged at the top and open out like gullwings:rolleyes: .

i dig the doors personally. i think they're pretty f***ing rad. Any idea on how much it costs to get something like that done?

I've looked into it a couple times, I like the 90 degree doors like on the C5 Vette, but don't know if I would like having them all the time, the bolt in kits you can get for a grand or less, the weld in kits are heavy duty and cost in the 1500-2500 range, stylin concepts has a coupl kits

The only cars I think these doors truly belong on are Lambo Murchalerago, Buggatti Veyrons, Mercedes Meclarion, and so on

Yeah i change my mind. I don't think i want them on my lightning. would be cool for a couple of days, then i would be tired of them.

seen them on a L in person at a car show, looked real good to me, just wouldnt want to raise them up every day to get in and out

they do make automatic opening kits for them, hmm..........
