Hello all, I am in Frisco, sorta new to the area and decided to join the club. Recently bought a Silver '04 Lightning, upgraded from a 2001 Extended Cab F150. Had a thing for the Lightnings every since the Gen 1's back when I was in High School.

I have seen some gallery pics of the center console installation and the bucket seat on the passenger side. It looks very appealing, much more so than the bench one in the truck now. Where are some places in DFW to do interior type upgrades and things of that sort.

There are a few mods already done to the truck when I bought it. But do plan to do some more work on the engine as well in the future. I will work on getting some pics up on my profile this week some time and look forward to getting to know some people from the area as well.

Any suggestions that any of you have on places for interior and even good audio places as well would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the club. You can pick up the console from a junkyard. You can use the one's from an explorer or expedition.

There are a few guys that have done it themselves but any good interior shop could do it as well. I know one in the Arlington area.

Try to find the 99 or older expy console it has a wider lid than the new skinny consoles. There are how to's and parts lists on the web. You need two brackets to bolt the console down and 3-4 brackets to shorten the bench to a bucket. The brackets are getting hard to come by through Ford now..

Thanks for some good information. Anyone else with some info on good places or highly recommended places to go for any of this stuff, feel free to offer it up.

Thanks, Michael.

i totally forgot, when i get home i'll copy and past the list :tu:

the list I have is for everything you need, if you plan on using the stock seat and making it into a bucket seat, I only ordered the brackets to mount the center console.
