some patroit heads and stage 2.5 cams what else is needed for the motor to run right with this set up? dumb question but i need to know since its my first time building a motor....thanks for those who chime in:tu:

I would consider not going with Patriot heads after you read this post over on NLOC. Not sure if I would use there stuff after reading this.

I always replaced the springs on the sets I installed. It is a cost point thing. Customers wanted heads and the Patriots were 1250-1450. JDM heads are my favorites but he wants 3-4 grand for those. I rarely had a customer that would pay the difference. I have not seen any problems out of the sets I have used over the last two years.

ok, i have another question, which FTVB w/a 4x4 pan would you buy the one from LFP or chickenears.....?
