what a bunch of bitches there is a track in temple that will stay opened even if its snowing they dont give a damn. i was out there one time a few years ago when it was like 36 degrees and they were running promods. NO traction.

they fixed the track but its still a lil bumpy. i was just joking about kennedale though. temple is a junk track but its all we got out here really. kennedale pisses me off b/c they let all the idiots stand between the tree and burn off boxes. the last time i went i almost hit a guy when i was doing my burn off and the track tech just shrugged his shoulders like it wasnt a big deal. temple might be a lil bumpy and have some trees close to the track but i still ran a 12.75 there.... as for being safe yea b/c racing by itself is safe??

Temple was poorly lit and had fall leaves all over the track when we were there.

terry your right it has some lighting issues. if someone who actually cared bought that track it could be turned into a good place very easily. fix the bumpy track, entirely too small staging lanes and burn off box and put some lights up oh and maby some metal bleachers b/c the wood ones are about to fall down.

I love that track, ran my fastest time there...

It was very dark and scary, with the trees that appeared to grow around the guardrails and the exit ramp road course left hand turn at the end.:icon_mrgreen:

i remember back before my last deployment it was bad. there was a big crack in the right light followed by a big speed bump right after the 60" mark so i never ran in that lane, now i only run in that lane b/c its easier to pull into that lane after the 160 degree turn from the staging lanes. iv been representing the lightnings out there lately... maby b/c im the only one out there? ;)
