Retailers are holding their breath.. They better not be waiting for me. :D I am trying to stay out of CC debt in times like these:tex

I usually spend 12-1500 bucks on Christmas. This year I plan to limit it to 500 or so:(

Bought a 37" flat screen today for the bedroom, $700. But I hear you on cutting back. :(

I am against the gift card for anyone you really know.love. You should get them a thoughtful gift not just a blank check for something...

I'm not even going out today if I can help it. There's no sale big enough for me to fight the mob. :tex

yep, wasnt what we would prefer to do either but it is what they actually wanted.. since we handed them out yesterday, all of the family members decided to pool their cards and get a Nintendo Wii.. so a happy ending..

My wife may have single handily saved the retail business in North Texas after her and the girls spent all day shopping.

I knew I had trouble when she asked to borrow the Denali:hammer:

Didn't help the retail market, but spent a ton, went to the Cowboys game and the Tutankhamun & Golden Age of Pharaohs - King Tut Exhibit.

My buddy and I walked into Micro Center and saw the crowd, then turned around and left. No deal is good enough to stand in line for hours....

I plan to spend a little more this year to do my part for the economy, but I suspect the retailers will run more sales once the rush slows down and they get hungry again.

Sickens me to see people acting like animals and fighting, even killing people just to be the first to get the $29.00 DVD player. I'll shop online this year:rolleyes:
