My new hood just arrived!! [Archive] - TALON Club - Texas Area Lightning Owners North

It's a 3" cowl hood made by Keanen. They're they're the same folks that make all the fiberglass goods for Steeda. This hood is one of three. There are a few more in a warehouse in Florida, however they're not for sale. Don't ask me why as I have no clue.

I think I'm going to have to hold on to this unit. These hoods a perfect right out of the box. No fiberglass trimming needed. If you're interested in one I can probably hook you up with a fella who knows the guy personally.

Nice hood. In some of the pics it looks striped. Bad paintwork or just an illusion? Also looks like a bunch of swirls around the flash.

he just drove out and picked it up. So knowing Ron it will look show room ready by the time it is painted and installed on his truck.

You are right. The paint is total crap. The underside isn't even painted.

You know me. I plan to get a couple estimates this morning. The only down fall is the cowl isn't functional, although it would just be a matter of doing the cut-outs to make it functional. The up-side of not have it functional is I won't have to worry about all the dirt getting sucked into my engine bay.

You are right. The paint is total crap. The underside isn't even painted.
I forgot you had the red truck now instead of the blue one and have to get it painted anyway.

LR is becoming very popular. I do believe I would have missed out on this hood if the seller placed it on NLOC. It was on LR for almost 24 hours before I noticed it. I guess I got lucky this time.:icon_smile:
