Well, its official.. Kim and I are moving back to Dallasknana.. I will be starting my new job on April 6th.. Since the house up here will not have sold yet, I will be locating a long term apt to stay in for up to 3 months.. I look forward to making a few meetings.. I hope to catch up with the other bowhunters here and go do a few 3D shoots, if they like doing that type of thing. I also look forward to being back in the Lone Star state and no state and local income tax.. I also want to get to the track more often to get some runs in and practice a bit more..

I was hoping you would step up archery brother.. :tu: I googled up a place over by TI, where I used to live.. its an outdoor range, never been there but the website made it sound good.. I am going to try to bring my bow with me when I move the first time.. I will need something to keep me occupied after work.. do you have any other 3D places in town?

Oh, btw, I am getting that new Hoyt AlphaMax in blackout.. check it out here.. http://www.hoyt.com/compound_bows/hoyt_alpha_max32_compound_bow.php

Jimmy, thanks for posting that.. I will need to find a new shop to get stuff and to tune up the bow..

Do any of you guys shoot in your yard? I am planning on setting up 3-4 3D animals in my back yard when I get there... just to get out and shoot for fun.. Wonder if the neighbors would mind a treestand? in the middle of Dallas?:D

Davids Outdoor in weatherford is one of the best bow shops around, pretty good drive from dallas, but well worth it for quality...

I was into it for a while, never actually hunted with it. Just had it dressed up and sharpened my skills for if I ever wanted too. It was very Fast,Accurate, and super Quiet:D

Then I started hunting in Colorado and never looked back, most of the shots out there are 600+ yrds if your lucky, and Texas hunting hasnt been the same since:cool:

Will do, I actually came across a great place to do the 3d hunting. Cowtown Bowmens club has 50 or 100 acres out by Fort Worth with all sorts of Targets set up. From just practice paper targets, to full out trails with 3D Targest everywhere. I'm pretty sure its less the $100 a year to be a member and you can use the Facility when ever you want:tu:

That sounds FANTASTIC!!! Lets round up some of the L boys and go out there and shoot some foam.. I loves the 3D shoot..

I am in a 3D league right now and its just good to get out once a week at least and shoot the bow.. we have a few guys on here that do it.. it would be fun..
