All right guys I'm having a brain fart. When you go to a taller tire (28 to 30 for example) what does that do to your ET's, MPH at the track. I havn't had enough coffee this morning to figure this out. :o:o

You should get a better MPH I dont know about ET. I would suspect you would improve on that too.

Your mph with be higher as long as you have the power for the bigger tire, alot of people will do it to keep them from having to shift into the next gear right at or just before the finish line

or do I have it backwards?

Just as Tif said, you need the power for the taller tire and you have plenty. The taller wider tire will lower your et b/c your 60' will be much better. I wouldn't go more than 29.5"-30" tall. M/T makes a 29.5X13X15 slicks that I use on the 1/8 miles tracks and it's killer. But you'll need to do a mini tub for it to fit.

If you want to try them out let me know.

I can't remember now if mine are 28's or 29's. I was shopping on-line and checking sizes. So no taller than a 30"??
