I was just wondering if anyone would happen to have a pair of drop coils (preferably 1.5"+) or a set of Lightning leaf springs (Year doesn't matter).

I have been looking for a set, but shipping just blows my price range to dust.

I will be moving back to Arlington in August, so I would be able to meet anyone within the DFW area.

Thanks
-Derek

*Edit*
I forgot to mention that I already have 2" Belltech drop shackles.

Yeah cut a coil and remove a leaf spring.. There are people on the board that can do it for you resonable.

Well I have heard mixed reviews. Only thing is since my little 4.2 is so light, would it really have much of an effect? And wouldn't spring rate be affected a little bit? If it is safe to do, I will try and pick up a set of regular F150 coils down in Kennedale at one of the junkyards.

And on the leaf springs, I'm wanting some heavier duty one so when I haul my quad, it won't get much sagging with a drop. Does that sound reasonable?

then get an airbag helper setup... Doug used to have one for trailering his boat.

having done both I would NOT recommend airbags

get better springs or get yours upgraded

Ok. So I guess I will just look for a set of V8 lea springs, if there is any difference between my 2+1 leafs and those. I'd like to find a set of 3+1 just for the extra payload capacity. Never know what I might haul. ;)

Cutting 3/4 of a front coil is a free experiment. In the rear either a 3" shackle or have Champoin spring dearch your stockers 2" and with a shackle you can vary the drop.

I already have 2" Belltech drop shackles in the rear, and I'm looking to do a 2" hanger also, since it will return to leaf springs to a more horizontal angle.

A buddy is hooking my up with some Western Chassis hangers for free, so yeah.
