Next Friday night (Aug 7th) is the final night for the Scion Show & Shine and Drag & Brag.

Went out there this past Friday and there was only one Lightning out there. FastSVT69 was the only racer with a Lightning, we need more people out there to show off what we have. There were a lot of Dodge's and Chevy's... come on everyone, let's load it up with Lightnings and show who the real king of the tracks are!!!

The prices are a bit misleading on the website... the prices are as follows:
Drag & Brag: $20
Show & Shine: $20
Combo (Show & Drag): $30
Helmet rental: $10
Spectator (w/ racer): $7

Registration/tech/practice runs start at 6pm, races start at 9pm and it goes til there is one single winner in each class. You race til you lose and there is a $10 buy in if you are eliminated after the first round but after that once you lose you are out.

Who all wants to go and show up the Chevy and Dodge guys!!! If need be we can set up a place to meet and we can convoy out there!! :nana2

It wasn't a bad turnout, way too many chevy's and dodge's. Need more Lightnings out there. Hopefully it won't rain next Friday, I lost in the second round because of the rain and the track was still a little wet. Have to get more Lightnings so we can show those chevy guys what's up!!!

Yeah we saw the red L with 03-04 wheels. More new camaros than Lightnings. Very pricey though. 29 bucks to two of us just to spectate... Then it rained.

I thought V8's were not allowed? I could have sworn I read only 3, 4, and 6 cylinders.

They have 4 classes the last one is full cage, slick, v8 nitrous low 10 cars.

There was everything out there and the way it was set up was great because then at least you got to see what you could really do. Don't get me wrong, regular drag races are fun but to actually get to see how long you would be able to last was the real thrill of the night. Next time it would be great if a lot more Lightnings were out there so we could show those Chevy guys off!

And yeah it can be pricey but I talked to one of the guys running it and he said that if it's a good enough turn out, then they are going to build a huge drag strip facility out at TMS for a lot more racing.

We were there, we only saw three though. There was mine, a black one and a silver one, didn't see you out there at all. Did you race?

I was in the White T/A. I ran about 6 times or so

Only Z06's I saw were black.
