What are the best tires to run on the rear of a daily driven Lightning?

It has currently.. 305/45/18 Nitto 555DR on it...
and I'm going to go pick my truck up in OHIO (TALEDO)
In the next week or 2... I do not want to drive back on the 555dr's..

any suggestions?

Toyos are a decent DD hard-tread in 295/45/18.

Just drove my truck back to Dallas from Erie, Pa on DR's no issues.. Toyo's are known to last longer but the rubber is too hard and you dont get traction, just wheelspin.. dont know about Hankook's however, I have used F1's and Nitto's.. both are good and traction about the same (except for the DR's, which bite like nothing else). The Nitto's did much better in the wet vs the F1's, IMHO.

do a search and you will find all kinds of opinions..

true but in doing so, I am guessing that you have to really feather that loud pedal and in doing so lose a few precious tenths.. with the DR's it pedal to the metal all the way without requiring any thought. And I like thoughtless driving.. :evil
