I traveled to the in laws this weekend outside of Austin. I drove the L since my wife had gone down to their house earlier in the week. I want to the grocery store and they were offering 12 cents off per gallon if you bought a prepaid gas card.. well, that was too much to resist.. so I ended up getting premium for $3.52 per gallon.. I was pretty happy with that score on the gas,,, but then again, realizing I was happy with getting gas at $3.52 a gallon made me sad that I was happy with that price per gallon. I am old enough to remember WAY WAY back to my early childhood when gas was 19.9 cents per gallon and the gas stations would have gas wars on occasion and drop their prices.. heck it wasnt that long ago when I could get premium for less than $2 a gallon..
