I've had a V1, and it worked fine against radar but when there are no other vehicles on the road, the Lidar is a killer. The V1 just lets me know when to pull over. :icon_rolleyes:

I've got a road trip coming up and I'm tired of messing around. Is there anything I can do to thwart Lidar?

Thanks,
Gary

It is getting pretty competitive. The guns are good enough they usually show a jam error to the operator. The best stuff I have seen is from Blinder out of Denmark. For fun I used to charge at the officers on the side of the interstate at triple digit speed then tap the Brembo's before going by at 65... They didn't love me but they never stopped me either.

I like three/four heads in the front. Two might cover a black car with no plate. The gun's beam is about 18" @ 500yds and measures speed 70 times in one third of a second. That is why they can nail your headlight or plate and detector may not go off.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. Thanks to our law makers, my daily driver (black G37) is now wearing a front plate. I'm saving up for this bad boy.

Thanks, Terry

I have the blinder system.. was driving back from LightningFest across the top of Ohio on I 90 doing 80-85 and the state trooper kept shootingme with lidar andwhen we drove by him he was just looking at his laser gun. My wife was just laughing and laughing.. she loved it. Terry installed mine.. however, no front plate either.

Mike, BC Lightning got written up in Irving for Impeding law enforcement or such. $250 I think... That is the only one of thousands of jams I heard of getting a ticket.
