This am I had an opportunity to run with a vette. It was not a race per se, but we both got well into the power curve for about 1/8th of a mile. Just as I was pulling up behind this vette on an industrial side street he must have seen me comin. We both had to go thru a 90 degree curve before fully accelerating. He was ahead of me comin thru the curve and I heard him really get on it so I followed suite. He had a few car lengths head start but once my L's SC got to work there was no pulling away for the vette. I was a little suprised myself. We both pulled off into the work parking lot (different employers) and he asked me about my L like he was really suprised I could keep up. He went on to tell me that he had 405 to the wheels. My L is just stock but it really had a good showing this morning. I've been smiling all day.
