They're going to try it next week in Michigan. I'm going to keep an eye on the official Guiness result.

I seem to remember Stan hitting almost 168 mph. :eek2:

The SRT-10 speedo shows 160 mph, btw. We'll see.

i think it will probably beat the L's top speed depending on the gearing. those motors seem to be built with a higher torque range than the L's. this would explain all the L's walking all over them in the 1/4 so far

It doesn't matter. It's a dodge. You say Dodge SRT-10, I think "K-car" :D

A friend of mine that works for Dodge said that he thinks the SRT-10 has a gov. at 140MPH he said he drove it up to that speed but it takes alot!!! to get it there!!:nono:

Now that I think about it, the Lightning set the record in August in MI.

Since the SRT-10 has hit somewhat major circulation, it seems Dodge is trying to "up-the-ante" and upset the record in Michigan in FEBRUARY ? :hammer:

I'll refrain from posting any more OH/MI snow .jpegs, but MI is covered in snow in Jan/Feb.

Draw your own conclusions as to Dodge's motivations! :rolleyes:
