And this is the view from my hotel room. It's about 76 degrees, breezy and the beer is ice cold.

And this is the fastest thing I have seen since I got here:

Looks fun! :tu: Lucky B@stard!

The only cool places I've been "on the company nickel" are to Chicago (in Feb. BRR! :hammer: ) and San Francisco (in Apr. - still cold for Cali.) They said it takes a while for the Pacific to warm up from the winter. It was '01 at the time and I saw a black Gen. 2 L cruising through SoMa.

Cruising through Silicon Valley/San Jose and seeing the Oracle/Siebel HQs was cool.

It looks good but I have been here 2 days and only had about 3 hours of free time. I am actually working my arse off.
I'm coming home on the red-eye to top it off. 7 1/2 hour flight from Honolulu to DFW.

But hey, it ain't snowin' :tu:

Last year I went to Maui for a week and only had about 10 hours of total free time. I took the little woman along and she was none too pleased with how little time I had to play. This time she didn't even ask to come along.

Before that we went to Sardinia for a week and THAT was fun. Had a few days of free time on that trip.

All in all I average about 3 cool places a year. They rest are to NYC, PA, Orlando, Miami, LA etc. Boring as hell.
I have been traveling now for 8 years so it's not often I get to go someplace new.
Gotta love the air miles though. I haven't had to pay money for a personal ticket in years.

RocksWell, I don't know if I can TOP that one, :hammer: but back for the Y2K New Year's Party, the ex-gf and I flew to Nashville to hang with her family there at the Maxwell House Hotel.

Her nieces bf and I were cruising around the place and partying and this tipsy brunette cutie in the elevator told me she wanted to "fog up my glasses". Direct quote! :D
I thought "WTH ?!?" :rll:

Well, I made it back. My plane landed at 6:30 this morning. Yeah, my hooves a pretty friggin white. That's what happens when a white boy sits at a computer indoors all winter. You don't even wanna see the moon, it's oxford white just like my L.. :rll:

Anyway, I am going to get her out of the garage and start makin' her pretty for the group pic. Looks like I've returned to some awesome weather. :)
