Is it safe to run a 6lb pulley as a daily driver with stock bottom end, also what about a 75 shot. I have a superchip, but want to get it re programed when I get it dynoed. Wheres the best to go in the DFW area. Also will a pulley and a chip void a warranty. Thanks for any help. ;) The truck already had these mods along with a borla cat back, 2000 stall and 4:ll gears I just want to make sure that the L is running top notch with a VERY good tune because from what I here the TUNE is vital the L. I've heard a few freaky stories of a L blowin a rod  and I don' t want to be one. :)

If it were me I would be careful about a 6 lber in the winter and as far as I’m concerned 6# of boost and NOS is a recipe for disaster...

I run a 4# lower and a few other mods and am consistently in the 12's - As low as 12.28

Most of them are listed here

The Biggest "power adders" are the Pulley, chip and filter,
Slicks are KEY and a tranny that can handle the power is important

all the rest are incremental mods that have almost zero seat of the pants impact

We've had four members grenade their motors this past winter. All were running a 6# pulley, chip, and CAI on stock bottom ends. In every case, dense (cold) air conditions were thrown into the mix.

I think I may be changing that pulley  , what's an average cost to build the bottom end?

Just to be safe. I haven't had a good tune since I started on these projects. I don't think I need an 11sec truck on the street. It will save my plugs, valves and gas. I just thought it was funny.:D
