I'm looking at purchasing a used caged interchangeable pulley with a 4 and 6# ring.. Good deal, better than spending the money for a new one, BUT the center nut is rounded... He says its still functional but look at the picture, it doesn't look functional to me.. Here's the pic..

Opinions wanted pls!

It might be near impossible to remove once you get it on...

IT better be REALLY CHEAP

If you need an interchangable setup get the LFP kit. Its not caged and you can put the different rings on it. Stay away from the caged pullies.

I like the caged pulleys cause they look more solid. Three bolts doesn't impress me.. And I hear the 3 bolt pulleys make ticking noises..

All I know about the caged pulleys is that they are tough to get on... Is there anything else?

the caged pulleys are even worse to get off, i have been running a 6lber for a year or so and my 3 bolts havent made any ticking noise...nor have they ever came loose

That's good to hear, considering I just ordered LFP's interchangeable :rll:

It was much cheaper than the caged pulleys... and still interchangeable..
