I like this one. I wish I could have gotten one before she let go. They pull 140 at 4500 and I had it over 5200 which is 160+knana

Not really racing related, but this is one of my favorite pictures. Elaine and I go to my parent's in OK. (near Texoma) to "get away".

The nearest neighbors are almost 1/2 mile away and you can go outside to the back yard and practice with the .45 as you wish.

I've even dialed in the Mini-14 and .300 Win. Mag. up to 100 yds. and the neighbors are none the wiser.
Plenty of Bass/Catfish in the pond on the houseplace. I've got the pics. to prove it.

I digress...

Nope, I think I was the first in Talon to have linelock(my design of course). FYI, just got home from a work SpeedZone event and have a little too much adrenaline going. We need to do this as an event, but I think my neck is going to hurt from so many poundings on the slick track. Good deal during the week $30 unlimited running for 3 hours.

I have seen many WH's from Detroit, Atlanta, GA, Daytona, FL and back. For whatever reason a lot of them in the North East are called Waffle & Steak. This one was 30 miles north of Indianapolis, IN. Funny thing was the coffee cups, napkins, and signs all said WH:beer: . It is a beautiful thing:tu:

Tex,

I don't know how much you've traveled up North, but it's a completely different "country" in Illinois/Indiana/Michigan from Texas.

The naming conventions/attitudes/dialect etc. are all different. They seem to have an "us v. you" attitude - outside the L community.

I spoke at-length via cell. with a couple of my L buddies in OH/IL yesterday which I haven't spoken with in a while. It was odd hearing that whole "Yankee" accent all over again.

They even have Bratwursts on the menu in McD's in OH.

Terry,

Was that Waffle and Steak in/near Carmel, IN?

Norman,

The L looks good! :tu:

Now take a weekend trip up into the Scottish Highlands and take some more pics for us!

Oh, btw... when are you making the next TALON meet? :burnout:
