My 10 yr. wedding anniversary is Saturday. I have $1K to spend per the SO on a present. What should I buy?

Actually I'm thinking of a digital camera. Any recommedations? or other suggestions?

Dude, A nice piece of jewelry ($700 - 800 worth, she knows how much that stuff costs), and dinner at Three Forks on the Tollway ($125 -150 with booze for 2 people). That's the way to go. Maybe some dancing afterwards at Sullivan's or Cool River. Works for my wife every time!!! :burnout:

I've been researching cameras this morning.

I'm leaning towards the Canon G2, any comments?
Any other recommendations for make or models?

Congrats Mark. I just celebrated 21 yrs ........ WHEW!

The G1 is my top choice only because of price, but if I had an extra grand to spend on a camera, it would be the G2 as well.

Don't forget the added expense of accessories, too .....:cool:
You'll want filter, macro, zoom and wide angle lenses.
A nice bag plus a 64 or 128 megs card for it. yada, yada, yada ...... :tu:
