I don't know how I missed this on the news but I saw last night that Rick James passed away on the 6th.

I SAW HIM LIVE IN 1982 AT REUNION ARENA. HE WAS THE SUPER FREAK. A LOT OF NEW ARTIST TODAY STILL SAMPLE HIS STUFF FOR THEIR OWN TUNES.

Yep, Rick James was "The Man" back in the day.

I believe these were some of his last public apprearances on Comedy Channel w/Dave Chappelle. Funny stuff ! :D

/Funkadelic was the shiznic in late 70's early 80's. I got to pay respect by playing his tape a couple times. The term "Super Freak" is in the Slang Hall Of Fame and should be in Websters. If you know what it means, then you know what I mean. You da' man Rick....RIP :bows
