I do not reccomend the boost bypass mod it bypasses the engines mechanical safety from over boosting. We safely turn off the boost dump solenoid electronically in our SCT tuner leaving the mechanical safety intact to do its job:tu: .

I have done this mod to my truck. I think it actually made my truck slower. I don't know for sure becuase the weather was pretty warm when I was running the truck at the track but I was never able to come close to my best time(before the bypass).
