While I agree it shows the potential of the smaller 2.3 unit (imagine what the 3.3 unit will do!!!), I am not overwhelmed by the #s at 13psi. Now granted he posted the "average" #s, which is different than the peak #s I assume, unless he's saying 416rwhp/466rwtq is the average peak figure for all the runs made at 13psi.

My truck makes 12-13psi and it puts out 393rwhp/482rwtq. It does NOT matter that I have a pulley or a CAI. What matters is that at the same boost pressure, the Whipple makes 23rwhp more than mine (but less peak TQ, which isn't a really big deal, assuming it is at least = by 4300rpm or so). So it is definitely more efficient than a stock Eaton. But honestly, I was hoping to see 50-60rwhp more given the SAME boost level.

21psi on pump gas is a disaster waiting to happen in my opinion. In a controlled environment on a dyno, it may work, but in the real world, I believe that is way too much static compression for 93 octane.

Just my $.02.

What these initial tests do show is the incredible potential of the blower. :)
