Well, after 5 years, one month, and two days my L. has headed off to its' new home. I'll leave it up to the buyer to decide if he wants to post up, but suffice it to say that the truck stayed within the TALON family, and it's gone to a good home. :D I was already missing it as I watched it being driven off, but I'm looking forward to my SuperDuty arriving in a couple more weeks.

Still remember the first morning I met you with the L.;) Stay in touch. Good luck with the new real truck as the SO would say "The L is just a toy not a truck."

Brian,

Sorry to hear the L go! http://www.talonclub.com/forum/images/smilies/redface.gif Hope you stick around as I enjoy your firearm related posts. http://www.talonclub.com/forum/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif

Dad and I are still kicking around ideas on .223/.308 AR builds.

You're L didn't go to the Glenn Cartel, did it? http://www.talonclub.com/forum/images/smilies/cool.gif http://www.talonclub.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Post-up pictures of your SD when it arrives. http://www.talonclub.com/forum/images/smilies/nana.gif

I'll still be around, it's just the truck that's gone. :) And it's not really gone, just no longer mine.

The key word is "foster". That's why I was interested in your 01 tailights. Actually, the truck now belongs to Flats Man. :D

I am too embarrased to post anything of significance! I would like to thank Brian for taking such good care of the truck! I know how he feels and Dennis said it was very tight on the road....or maybe he was very tight, I don't remember! Anyway Brian, thanks for a great truck!

And I thank you Fred. :tu: Couldn't ask for an easier person to do business with. As reported, you are a man of your word.

Dennis, thanks again for saving me the drive. The truck looks good amongst your stable. Surrounded by darkness, as it were. :evil

Logan, those seats are definitely making the rounds. Your work is moving on to yet another L.

Mark #2,
It is funny that you should post about an intervention because I was thinking the same thing! The real problem is that I am probably the most sane one of the bunch! So I would suggest a Talon intervention with maybe Terry as the leader!.......Na, that wouldn't work because Terry is helping with the White Gen1, so He is mixed up in this mess too!

I've met, hung out, with the brothers, sane is not a word that would come to mind. Obsessive/compulsive maybe;)

What ever happened with that other black truck that you were working on with a friend?

We're waiting on the motor out of Flats Man's 94. Probably sometime in April, then we'll get started putting everything together. We've already got a rebuilt transmission so the goal is to have it done by Lightningfest .
