I got my first ten yesterday and they look awesome. SCT did say they will expand features in the coming months. I am not sure what they are capable of as of now I haven't played with it yet. They use a USB cable so no more special programming cables to buy! Introductory priced at $375 just like the old Xcals:tu: .

Save one for me.. would prefer to upgrade when the truck is in and sell the Microtuner.. who knows, maybe Doug will want it.. or Ronald. Its great on a stock truck.

I'd be curious to see how the xcal2 would work on my L.

You can come get a tuner and a hand full of programs. I can't get to the dyno for a little bit so you would need to check them at a local joint some time. You can be the first to try the MTOD:D . I can mail you one tomorrow if you'd like. They are planning to release rev 3.0 this summer... All other features are working now except for modifcations with the tuner. As of today you have to use your laptop and load the changes with a USB cable. It should data log, read DTC's and all other features as advertised.

The 3.0 is a rev in MY Advantage tuning software only. Everything else is there and ready to go. I wouldn't hold my breath for it just like the Xcal2 was due out in March.. The programs will be the same except for making small edits through the Xcal2 instead of a PC and USB cable.

That last sentence seems very valuable to me since I do not carry a laptop everywhere I go.

SCT sells each model license seperately. I purchased the Harley, Lightning, diesel, and Cobra licenses. Each license is about 500 bucks. If you want to pay for the license I will tune it for free.

So, what could a stock '02 L expect from an XCal2 performance-wise?

It would make it scary fast! or about 30 more hp.

SCT should offer some kind of trade in deal for eveybody that bought the original X-Cal kind of like they did with the old chips.

Yeah, I ask them on a regular basis and they say they don't know what to do with the trade ins. The development and release of new products is exciting and gives us new options. Unfortunately it also makes us want the new stuff and view the old as obsolete. The best route right now is to sell your tuner to someone with a chip and move up. That way they get the new stuff and so do you. As a personal favor to my cusotmers I will reprogram their SCT Xcal or 9100 for a new home for free when they purchase a Xcal2:tu: . There is always someone that can't afford the new stuff thatr would like a deal on the next best thing!

I think I'm going to wait untill they come out with the one where I don't have to use a lap top. That thing is going to be the shizzle!
