knana Ahhhh it was a long wait but this past sunday was my first day to ever go to the track. I have read up on other talon posts of what to do ur first time. I got to kennedale around 4:15 so I had the track basically to my self ( other than a 99GT,and a Neon). My best pass was a 9.01. But then i relized when i was leaving i had about 150 extra lbs in my truck bed.(two tires and rims/fold up chairs/and some other crap).Haha. Hopefully losein that will put me in the high 8s. Not sure wheather i should be happy with those runs for my truck? Does the times sound about right?

Not sure on my 60s but my top speed was 79.8 i believe on my fastest pass. I was pretty consistant around the speed and times.

Did you not keep your timeslips?

The first time that we went to the track with our truck we ran 9.17. The truck was stock, it was 85*, full tank of gas + bed cover, and the track was slippery. If you were at Kennedale there was probably not much traction either.
