A Great Big Thanks To L8 APEX

Thank you Terry for the great work you have been doing on my truck. We still have some fine tuning to do on her but she will be putting out low 10's high 9's before you know it.

For those that don't know, Terry hooked me up last week with some much needed traction mods that performed exactly as expected. He also set me up with an NX Express nitrous kit. The man even put a nitrous tune on the truck for me out at the track.

I had the set up to bust Mr. Hogges butt Saturday night, but due to driver error..Mr. Hogge gets to strut around as top dog for a little longer. I made the mistake of turning my OD off. It is a habit from way back when that finally got me in trouble. At 126 mph my truck hits the rev limiter. This happened at the 1000 ft mark Saturday night. I was well on the way to doing 135 mph on that pass and from where my numbers hit by letting off at the 1000 ft. I would have been hitting a 10.8x minimum.

I meet alot of performance people around the country. Folks...Terry is top notch. Not once has he ever let me down. His work is next to perfect.

We are not done with it yet, It is a real comfort to have Terry on the team. I hope everybody at Talon realizes how lucky they are to have him around here.

Anybody that will haul an empty trailer to a event just in case someone breaks down. Also is the first one to ask if you need help when you break down. Is OK in my book. Big ups Catfish.:tu:

x20...Terry is an awesome guy and good friend. He's helped me out on many occasions. He was a godsend while I was away in China....not sure what I would have done had he not been at the house to help.

I have noticed how he cares for the trucks like they are his own, he has helped me out plenty of times, and even let me borow ol' blue when me tranny blew up.....twice. I'm glad we have a tuner in the area that cares for our trucks like they were his own.

So Rocks, is it the regular old Wet NX kit with the Shark nozzle? How much are you squeezing? I just bought one for my truck today and I plan to jet it for 50-75. Those units are good for 250. You probably have it jetted for 150- that's my guess. Did it work well?

That was our first run with it. I believe Terry set it up with a 100 shot. We also took alot of timing out...and turned the boost down. We wanted to try it out at a conservative level before going nuts.

Terry will be putting it on the dyno in the next week or so for some serious adjustments.

I couldnt agree more.. I have posted up here the way that he has gone out of his way to help folks like me that dont have a clue about what they are doing. I purposely found an excuse to drive my truck back to Dallas just so that he could work on it. I will probably have to do it again.. If I miss anything from N Tx its Terry and the work he does on my truck.
