Just wanted to let you guys know that i run a firework stand in July and Dec. For those who are intrested i will see what i can do to get everyone a good deal at the stand or from the fireworks at my home.

I love fireworks. We drive to Vegas every year to buy them on for the 4th of July. They are very illegal in Southern CA. Those are probably illeagal to ship?

i dont have a stand but i buy them by the case in Athens,TX nothing but 500 gram cakes we have one hell of a show.

Sucks all the good stuff is illegal!I have a friend that makes BIG firecrackers.Last time i lit one off we had to evacuate the area :eek: .Thought i would ask though i loved those when i was a kid!!!

Just thought I would share. A person can make one of the baddest fire crackers with seemly most tamest thing you can find at the firework stand: sparklers.

Disclaimer: Do not try this at home....This is just a history lesson on how these were built...I'm not responsible if you blow something useful off your body!

The theory: Have you ever lit two sparklers and held them as one. They burn twice as fast. 3, 3 times as fast...ect. Now expand that to a whole brick: 144 times as fast....KABOOM

One would combine the unwrapped sparklers all together with one sticking out for a fuse and tape them together with some good electrical tape. The really stretchy kind, stretch it really tight as you wrap the bundle up. Then one would put the whole thing in the freezer so the tape will shrink up and it gets even tighter. Even just using 20-30 sparklers makes quite an explosion.

H.S. details aside, we lit those M-80 units and threw them in the Grandparents' stock-tank repleat with bass/catfish. :evil

We waited... and waited. Then BAMMMM! Helluva' concussion felt through our feet. A whoppin' underwater mushroom cloud jumped up top-side!knana:burnout:

You can do the same with the fuses. I took a few(few=alot) of the long fuses that runs down the center of the strip of black cats, put them in a small small sealed tube with one wick sticking out.. Made a nice little bang....
