:tu: Terry, who has the fastest L. you ever woke up and what was the H.P. and torque.Talon ought to have a raffle for an amount to build a bad ass L.(mod yours)from PFR..I would be in.With all the members the final drawing would be enough to build a wammy. What do you think Doug?It would help Terry too!!Figure 100-200 bucks a ticket. It would be worth it to see the outcome!!!

You may be willing to risk my livley hood and legal fees - Im not :evil

Unless you want to post lets say $20,000 fund to cover legal fees incurred.

Alternatively you could do the research and legwork to see if TALON would qualify to become a charitable organization as required - But then that would raise the costs of everything and make it so complicated that I wouldnt be interested in supporting it any further...

There are three trucks all with the same combo that run 525/575 street and 600+ on race tunes. Rocks, Wesman, and Dan Romasko. All have stage 2 long blocks, Rocks has a stage 2.5, all KB's, and long tubes, built trannies. Rocks has run 10.9x's on motor and now has the spray that should go to the low 10's and 700hp/800tq range. Dan has run low 11's up in Amarillo at 3300ft elevation which is usually worth a few tenths. James Gee has a ported blower and stage 3 cams he made 508/525 on his warm tune last week and ran 11.90's at TFC.

Let me jump in here and answer some un asked questions

1) Have I ever done anything illegal ? yes in the past but i don't advertise details on the Internet

2) We wont get caught you old fuddy duddy. - I'm not willing to take the chance since the responsibility would likely be 100% mine, personally.

3) whats the big deal ? First problem is that this would only work if cross posted across the net to every SVT site. Someone would bitch and then the law would come after TALON which would lead them to me.

4) Why don't we organize as a legal entity and get status to limit liability, perhaps even charitable status. - We could, but since we cant get people to agree on a place to meet for more than a week at a time, the idea of more formal organization sounds like a lot of work and cost for little return. But if someone is interested in organizing the process and coming up with a budget for the legal fees involved ( both initial and on going ) then we can certainly talk it over.
