Hey guys,

Thanks for all the help on the powdercoating/painting wheels thread.

I have some new '99 style wheels coming and am going to have Bob Tomes paint them white. The body shop up there has done some good work for me in the past (did my Lightning front end on our '00 Expedition that turned out really well).

I'm also going to go with some Ceramix brake pads (at least for the front), in an effort to get less brake dust all over the wheels. I keep the truck clean anyway, but I would rather not wash the wheels every time I get back from a drive.

Hopefully they will turn out as well as J.D. Blackwell's! :)

I'll shoot some pics here once they get done.

Be ready for all of the compliments.

I never got tired of compliments though. When I get a little extra cash, I am changing up the look on mine and might retire my wheels. I have a better look planned out that will blow everyone away.:eek2:

Which mirrors did you put on your truck? Those look really good, too!

May want to give Steve Pasture (Zaino distributor) a call on the brake pads...he has some great pads that have very little dust at a really good price too.

They are the Street Scene mirrors painted wit the factory paint also. I also had the tailgate handle sandedededed down and paintededed. I would poost a picture , but I am drunk rigvht now.

I have a good sense of humor, Terry. ;) I can take a joke.

Hopefully they'll turn it around in a reasonable amount of time.
