Terry,
I was thinking about putting some traction bars on my L. What do you suggest? Also, do I need to do anything else to it with this mod?
Thanks

Measure the ride height and see if we can fit the Metco uppers in there. They will tuck up and out of the way for poor road or driving conditions.

I have the Metco lowers on my because of the Roush suspension. They're nice.

Does anybody have the install instructions for the Metco uppers? Mine did not come with any. I'm off work for 10 days after Xmas and I would like to install them.
Thanks,
Tom

it would probably take lowers a lot better. You measure from the center cap to the fender lip. It should be somwhere in the 18" range.

Terry, you were right, right at 18".. the uppers sound interesting and more stealth than the lowers.. are they harder to install? do they work better?

Uppers are for stock height trucks. I think Mike BC somehow runs uppers on a lowered truck. If they are lowered at all you are suppose to use lowers instead.

I was thinking of getting some Nitto DR's too but will wait until I have traction bars in instead.

BCLightning mike has the lowers... only reason you cant run uppers on a lowered truck is because it can hit the bed and bed supports...

I'm not sure if I have uppers or lowers, but those bitches scrape a lot......so annoying.

They are discussing Metcos not the 54-58" torque arms you have, yes those can scrape if you don't watch where you're going.
