The weather is the only reason I can see for being closed. So far the forcast is for only partly cloudy this evening.

I could use some help de-weighting my truck this evening. I need to remove the bed cover and my aluminium tool box in the back that I've had in there since going on a trip a few months ago. Are any of you going to be around the Mansfield area around 6PM that could lend me a hand?

Dissappointed. I got one run in and ran an 8.20 with a lot of spinning off the line. Based on that I feel I probably could have got my first run in the 7's. But it just wasn't to be. For the first time in a really long time I heard some detonation near the end of the track so I didn't run again. I had a full tank so I couldn't mix any race fuel. So maybe next time....

I want to make a few passes with my bald ass drag radials and pump gas to see what she's got on the street and then switch to race tune and slicks to see what she's capable of.

Had a blast today, no wait in the stagin lanes. Bad Rob brought his Gen 1, Jeff-ro ran a 7.9 in his beast and Wesman hit a 7.4. Gary did well too with an 8.1 (not sure on his best of the day) and Crazy Curtis had his usual burn outs down the track while shootin the deuces to us down the track. Me, Adam and True blue Mike watched the Cowboys suck at Hooters. Overall good day today :tu:

It was a really good time, it was great seeing the crew again and the weather was awesome. Kennedale will be closed until mid January so it was good to get out there one more time. Thanks again Michael for the slicks, I really appreciated you doing that for me, and the help at the track.:tu:
