Has anyone bought the long tube setup from LFP? Looking at prices for the Kooks compared to the LFP versions.....keep trying to figure out why I would not want the LFP long tubes?

Check with Terry, I know he's had experiences with both the KOOKS, and LFP's. I ran the KOOKS and really liked them. In terms of power production, I'd think they'd be very similar. One may be a little more difficult to install than the other, but once again you'd need to confer with Bad Terry.
I do know that the LFP's use a ball type(gasketless) flange at the collector, as opposed to the flat collector flange on the KOOKS. For your purposes, I'd think that either would work fine. Just my .02;)

LFP uses gaskets at the collector, well according to there web site...:tu:
Our long tubes come complete with LFP O2 extensions, LFP graphite header gaskets, header bolts and steel donuts for a leak proof fit.
As seen in the picture on LFP site it comes with collector gaskets(the little round dohickeys)

Also i hate the ball type(gasketless) connectors.. My bassani headers had them and with them and the bassani mid pipe i would have to loosen and readjust them because how the motor would torque and move the 2 bolt clamps would eventualy move and start to leak....
