by adding mid pipes to my lightning, what kind benefits would i get? If any would i need to reprogram anything? thanks shawn

Unless you install long tube headers anything else is just noise. The stock manifolds are the restriction not much from the cats or muffler.

You can run long tubes and cut the cats off with a bassani cat back and be deaf in your left ear like me. :tu: Performance wise though, I felt nothing with the long tubes and cat back, but a little when the cats were removed.

If you run without cats better dynamat the inside, to cut down on the drone when driving on the highway, my truck drones pretty bad with long tubes, hi flow cats, and silver bullet exhaust

I agree, I have the same setup and it will drone after a while. But like terry said you will get a better sound out of the truck and that is it.
