Anyone Going?

Kim and I are going to the North American International Auto Show, otherwise known as the Detroit Auto Show.. we havent finalized whether its the 14th or 21st.. but I thought I would ask to see if anyone from here is going..

We are heading out tomorrow to go to the Show.. We are taking the camera and I will see if I can get any lemonade shots.. its about a 4-5 hour drive from here..
cant wait to see the new Porsche Cayman, and a few other cars too.. :nana2

This show was unreal. Dana was looking hard for eye candy for you guys but he saw less then 10 and they were in the crowd and I saw only one that was really hot and she also was in the crowd. On the other hand,the crowds were UNREAL and the cars were spectacular. The really hot cars were the Mercedes McLaren, Maybach, the Lambos and Ferrari's. Rolls Royce had some really nice cars and the Bentleys were pretty even though Dana said for the money, they are not that great. I just think they have a lot of nice appointments. The Porsche Cayman S was hot but then again, my dream car is the Parsche 911 Turbo and the Cayman IS the poorman's Carrera which still has the 911 body style. There was a second level of just concept cars which was pretty cool. Some of the concepts were just mere models that were 1:10 size and were really neat to see. One of the concept cars was normal size and it was a solar powered car from the University of Michigan. It had won all kinds of awards. It was pretty neat to see. I told Dana that Chip Foose was probably one of those guys years ago....of course he was the one who invisioned the Plymoth Prowler as you all know. Yea,I do know my car stuff even though I am a girl. All in all, it was a great show and by the time we left, we both were exhausted. Dana will be posting photos later. If you ever have the opportunity to attend the car show in Detroit, please do as it is not a waste of time. :tu:
