Well, I can't stand my truck just sitting on my trailer and not driving it, so I wanted to start my project that I was really going to do next year. First off, the 20's and I am dropping it. Don't know if I am dropping the front 1" or 1 1/2", but the back will get a 2" drop. The wheels will be fitted with 295/40 rubber. This is the first phase of "Project Player". I know you are wondering what kind of wheels I got. Well you will just have to wait and see. I tell you what though, it will be different from all the other L's.

Chit, I'm not worried about your wheels.
When you gonna get that MoFo running .....
Is it driveable yet?

I don't know exactly when it will be running. I am planning on getting it to Jim's in New Jersey next month or so. I don't think she will be running til Christmas, but it will be right. Jim is going to dynotune it and the whole nine yards, so that keeps my spirits up for now.

Goodyear Eagle HP Ultra Plus ? Those are what I am running. I'm not sure if you bought the tires yet or not, if not I think Tirerack has a pretty good sale going on them...about $160ish I think. I paid about $80-90 more per tire than that....damn good deal, I'm thinking about picking up an extra pair or two.

Yep I just bought 4 of the 295/40/20's from tirerack. They only cost me $688.40 to my door.:D
The tires look pretty good too. I have a buddy in Lewisville that has 20" wheels on his Dakota R/T and he loves his tires.
Also for Phase 1 of "Project Player" I ordered a bigger amp to push my 10's. The other amp I will use to push my new Alpine door speakers w/ tweeters that I ordered also.
Christmas is coming early this year.

Heard you were importing sub boxes from IL...
I am likely going to do some sub work - I have a single JL 10ws6 BUT the amp I have is only pushing 100-125 watts to it... To upgrade wiring and buy an amp to run the sub at 300 watts is too high.. Illl likely just sell the ws6 and get a ws3 that will be better matched to the amp I have...
