Acetoned the badges today...

Took me about an hour and a half, only because i was pretty tedious on the first 2. The acetone didnt hurt the paint, just wiped it off with a soapy rag if i got any on the paint. Used some painters tape to tape around so i could get the edges, and used q-tips and a kids paint brush. Looks nice with the chrome wheels and billet grille.

Figure since i cant spend any money, this is an easy way to add some blingage.:beer:

Either way, i recommend the acetone over the brake cleaner, it worked a lot better.

What color is your truck? I like it acetoned on some colors , other colors not so much.

On red, I think it's best left stock. Looks a lot better with the red/black combo.

My truck is black with chrome wheels. I think it looks pretty good. Limo tint on the windows and chrome accents. Im going to wash her up tomorrow and i will try and get some pictures.
