I've finally decided to let-go of the .300 and get into an AR-10 .308. This Ruger M77 Mk. II topped with a Leupold Vari-XII 3x9x40 Matte with 112 rds. of hunting ammo IS as follows:

11 Winchester Black-Talon 180 gr.
10 Federal Sierra Pro-Hunter Soft-Point 180 gr.
11 Winchester Fail-Safe 180 gr.
20 Unopened Federal Sierra Pro-Hunter Soft-Point 180-gr.
40 Unopened Winchester Power-Point 180 gr.
20 Winchester Supreme SilverTip Boat-Tail 190 gr.
20 Remington Extended Range Boat-Tail 190 gr.
20 rds. of virgin Remington reloading brass.

I have the original box for the Leupold scope, full life-time warranty paperwork and green Leupold ensignia flannel cleaning cloth. I have the Butler Creek flip-up scope-caps around here somewhere.

The only reason I'm selling is due to my pinched right radial-nerve and Dad was generous enough to buy Regan and I brand-new AR-10s of our choice.

It's an elk/moose/grizzly rifle and is overkill for whitetail as I'm tired of the .300 Win. Mag. abuse. It just rolled my 9-pt. whitetail, and the rnd. didn't even expand.

Hmm, no TALON-takers? :rolleyes: Hell, I might just keep it for me to win the personal grudge-match between man-and-machine.:hammer:

The more I think about it and go in for "adjustments", some of the firearms/chiropractor lobbyists are probably on the same payroll.:D
