Theres going to be some major work on 360 in a few months happening on the weekends.. We are going to be resurfacing parts of 360. We have to do it on the weekend because of how busy it is during the week...

Hey, someone has to stand around and make sure no one steals any orange barrels.
Or several people.
In the same place.
At the same time.
While I am stuck behind a rock hauler in traffic.
Waiting for the roadway that was funded with tax money to be finished so it can be turned into a tollway.
Nope, not bitter! :(

Which parts of 360? And how long until south of 20 is expected to be finished?

Does that mean they will be putting the already existing construction on south 360 on hold or will they continue it as well? From what i've seen, and it may be beacuse its finally getting a bit colder, but they have started to slow down a bit on the freeway extension south of Green Oaks. If anyone can answer, i've been wondering how far do they plan on taking the freeway and when are they planning to finish the construction.

I don't see why hwy360 needs a new road surface. I mean sure there are really big pot holes in it but you can't drive faster than 20-30 MPH on a good day so they are really easy to avoid. :D

I hate 360, they waited about 5 years too late to start fixing things as usual. Although I am pretty anxious for the 20S portion to be finished.....that will be a nice welcome change...albeit a couple years too late
Don't they have a planning department there? Do they actually do any proactive planning? It seems all the do is re-active.

Isn't that the truth. 360 was way over capacity 6 year ago. I think they have plans to redo some of the major intersections (at Division St.) by the end of 2012 or something way out like that? The amount of traffic 360 has to support it really needs a mix master at almost every major crossing. It at least needs major intersections at I30, Division, and Pioneer. Right now, it doesn't even have a through service road at the GM plant where it needs it the most.
