i stumbled on that show last night and was amazed at what they did to that "ice breaker" truck.

I watched a few episodes tonight. I saw one large issue with it. This episode was of a Marine with a sick child. His rig was always breaking down costing him 300 a week or more in repairs. Well they paint, chrome and blig it without making it any better mechanically. You gotta fix the drivetrain for guys like this! That paint won't make him a penny!

my thoughts exactly.. in fact, I dont recall them ever fixing any of the mechanical issues.. its more Pimp My Ride than Overhaulin'.. with Overhaulin', they fix the rust, the body and paint, and the drivetrain.. you have a potential long running vehicle when its done.
