Just left the driving range and punched it when right before it shifted my exhaust popped and the truck lost power. It was not the same feeling as when you hit the rev limiter and the air/fuel was around 11.3 where it usually is. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this problem or anyone know what it could have been. I did floor it a couple more times after it did this but never happened again. Thanks for any hlep.

I have the plug removed so instead of doing it the right way. So it should not be that right?

If the engine was cold it could be something as simple as raw fuel in the exhaust?

Not claiming to be an expert, but with the electrical plug removed, I don't think that it can dump boost.
Maybe blew out the spark at high boost, others have had this happen with large plug gaps and weak coil packs.

Thanks for the responses. I was just checking that it was not something real serious but I guess i'll find out when something goes boom. :throw:

I am guessing, but could it be boost bypass kicking in? or is yours disconnected?

Sounds like the engine was cold? Of course you would never stomp on a cold engine:D

We need to get a game going sometime. I am not by any means a good or even acceptional golfer but I still like going out and doing it. I have not been in a year or so but have been hitting the ranges up a little just getting in a little practice. :tu:

Hell, I'm horrible, but I still have fun with it. :tu: Plus, got me a new set of clubs that *should* help the game some (long story), so I'm looking forward to an outing. Maybe we can call it the "TALON Invitational"?? :rll:

Sounds like a plan to me. I was doing alright at the driving range hitting them straight and semi on target with my short game. Although on the course it all changes for me but should post up in the event section incase we have some other interested. I got some old clubs but need to purchase a driver and 3 wood soon.
