I think that I have heard about this. I don't know sh*t about guns. Is the damn thing plastic?

I see where the Clip is blown up so you can see it better but that's all I see?

H&K is my gun of choice, The quality is top notch. I remember looking at H&K's and glocks, and the store had a whole row of glocks, same style and same year build, and the tolerances and fit of the pieces were all over the place. A lot of people praise the Glocks but after seeing that I wasn't as impressed.

I'm no expert though, I'm curious what some of you more experienced gun owners think of H&K, Terry, Gary?

I noticed that too, Brian. I seem to remember another H&K promo. poster with a black-balaclava wearing Spec. Ops. operator holding an H&K pistol on target with one eye closed.

OMG, how did they not notice that. That was the first thing that caught my eye without even looking for something wrong. My freakin girlfriend always does that when we shoot.... I have to keep a close eye on her

they're very expensive and i'm sure worth every penny. i fell in love with the one used in the bruce willis "die hard" movie. hans, the bad guy, had a smallish 9mm that i had to have until i saw the price...http://www.ranger-forums.com/forum2/images/smilies/omfg.gif

that IS a pretty funny picture. the photogs obviously didn't know a thing about pistols. you'd think the lawyers, proofreaders, pr dept, somebody, would have caught that before print.

I guess "Compromise" is something they need to come to terms with. :rll:

I believe the pistol the Die Hard Hans Gruber character carried was an H&K P-7 M13, while his crew carried the MP-5s - all 9 millimeter.

The H&K line is definitely the BMW / Mercedes-Benz of the firearms world.:tu:

If by that you mean, $#&* customer service and overpriced and unavailable parts.

I thought Gruber's pistol was a P7-M8, but it coulda' been a M13. The rest of the crew carried MP5's, except for Alexander Gudinov's Steyr AUG.

Caliber's not the only thing that's got everyone changing :) Our USP's will be going away too, hopefully by 07.
